Join Dr. Ron Butler, professor emeritus, UMaine Farmington, for an exciting webinar journey into the world of damselflies and dragonflies. Dr. Butler is an ecologist interested in issues related to the conservation of biological diversity. We will dive into how they are classified, their evolution, breeding strategies and the important roles these insects play in our natural world. Ron's presentation will include images of various species from our nine odonate families, and explore how current conservation challenges are impacting these beautiful flying predators.
