Pie Night for Sam Miele
Benefit Fundraiser for Sam Miele of Hanover. The Gardner Roberts Memorial Library Trustees in collaboration with Stony Brook Campground will host a “Pie Night” on Wednesday, August 17, beginning at 6pm at the Stony Brook Campground Pavilion located at 3036 Main St, (Rt. 2) in Hanover. The Pie Night Fundraiser will benefit Sam Miele, of Hanover, who was severely injured in an attack by a dog earlier this year. All proceeds from this benefit will help Sam with her medical and living expenses as she continues her long road to recovery. There will be a fabulous spread of all kinds of pies – meat pies, dessert pies, pizza pies, and quiche. The public is welcome to attend this family-friendly event. Come for supper and dessert. You may bring a pie to share or just come to eat some pie and have fun with family, friends, and neighbors!
Admission is free but monetary donations at your discretion will be accepted at the door. There will be door prizes and a 50/50 cash raffle, too. For more information or if you wish to bring a pie, please contact HanoverMENews@gmail.com or stop by Stony Brook Campground Variety Store, Jade's Salon in Bethel, or the Gardner Roberts Memorial Library in Hanover. If you are unable to attend, any of the above mentioned organizations may receive and accept donations on Sam’s behalf.
