This Week at Mt. Abram
For all the details, please go here
Back to school means a shift in seasons at the mountain.
As summer winds down and everyone heads back to class, we’re also wrapping up our summer operations. This is the last week for Thursday lift access. Starting next week, we’ll shift to Friday through Sunday operations for the remainder of the season.
Tomorrow marks the final Enduro Race of the series, and it looks like Friday will bring some much-needed rain—setting us up for a great weekend of cooler temps and dialed-in dirt.

Next Week at the Mountain
We’ve got a full weekend of racing, music, and community on tap, and it's one of the biggest events of the season. Whether you're here to race, cheer from the sidelines, or just enjoy the atmosphere, this is a weekend you won’t want to miss.
Saturday, September 6
The day starts with practice and race packet pickup for the Mt. Abram Downhill. In the afternoon, join us for the Whip Off for Wes, a whip-off contest and fundraiser supporting our friend Wes Davis. Wes, a longtime member of the East Coast mountain bike community, recently returned home after suffering a major spinal cord injury this spring. Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting his ongoing recovery and care.
Trail Crew is building a special whip feature just above the Beer Garden, so spectators will have a great view from the base area. Registration will be in person on Saturday.

Stick around for live music from The Northside Ramblers from 4 to 7 pm, followed by an outdoor screening of Underexposed: Bethel with special guest Brice Shirbach.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sunday, September 7
The Mt. Abram Downhill returns with three stages of classic East Coast terrain. Expect tight turns, steep drops, and raw technical sections in one of the rowdiest races of the year.
Entry is $119, and the first 50 riders to register will receive a free tee.
Spots are limited and registration is open now.
From the whip-off to the film screening to race day itself, this weekend is all about community and good riding. We hope to see you here.
Final Enduro Series Race
The Enduro Series wraps up this Thursday, August 28, and we’re closing it out with something new. For the final race, we’re switching to a consistency format—speed still matters, but smooth and steady wins the day.
Racers will ride two timed stages on Grease Slapper, and the winner will be the rider with the smallest time difference between their two runs. It’s not about who’s the fastest, it’s about who can stay dialed.
For example:
Rider A runs 2:15.08 and 2:15.20
Rider B runs 2:00.00 and 1:43.28
Rider A takes the win with a time difference of just 0.12 seconds.
This format gives riders of all speeds a fair shot at the podium. We’ll award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall—no age or category divisions this time. Just tight times, clean laps, and a fun way to end the season.
Thanks to our friends at Green Machine Bike Shop, one lucky rider will also take home a brand-new bike, just for showing up and racing.
Advanced Registration $18
Day of Registration $23
