Vaccine Clinic & JACINTA Screening - FREE
Join us for a free vaccine clinic @ The Gem organized by River Valley Healthy Communities and the Maine CDC, followed by a film screening of JACINTA.
The vaccine clinic will be open from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
A free pizza buffet will be available at 5:00pm, for anyone attending the JACINTA film. The buffet will include pizza, a small popcorn, and a soda/water.
JACINTA will begin @ 6:00pm, with a panel discussion to follow.
JACINTA (directed by Jessica Earnshaw), is a hopeful and powerful award-winning film about a Maine resident who struggled with generational adversity and substance misuse and beat the odds.
Jacinta, the subject of the film, will be present and participating in the panel discussion following the screening. Other panel members include Glenn Gordon (Oxford County OPTIONS program), Dr. Catherine Chamberlin (Bethel Family Medicine), and Kari Taylor (Western Maine Addiction Recovery Initiative)
