Hewnoaks invites you to the fourth edition of our signature public program, Wild Light, an afternoon of art and community that celebrates the vital link between the majesty of the natural environment and Maine's artistic abundance. Featuring a pop-up exhibition, dance and music by Hewnoaks alumni and local artists, the event takes place at our beautiful lakeside campus in Lovell, Maine and is presented in collaboration with the Greater Lovell Land Trust and curated by Lights Out Gallery. Visual Art by Cushman Amesbury, Maya Attean, Stephen Benenson, Jon Caterina, Louisa Donelson, Annika Early, Elana Adler, Lauren Fensterstock, Joe Ferrigno, Shaina Gates, Thea Hart, Ashley Page, Julie Poitras Santos, Jay Stern, Benjamin Spalding, Shoshanna White Music by Asha Tamarisa and Myles Bullen Performance by Little House Dance Doghaus food truck will be on-site, and complimentary light refreshments, including beer, will be available. Thanks to Onion Foundation and Norway Savings Bank for the generous support that makes this event possible! Bring your camp chairs and picnic blankets as the event will culminate in a lawn concert. All are welcome, but please leave pets at home. Parking provided on-site. Free admission.
