About Us

Western Maine Yurts offers an elevated camping experience with comfort and features that provide a unique lodging alternative. Nestled in 128 acres of woods in Bethel, Maine, our 8 yurts keep you close to nature with convenient proximity to Main Street. Our private, solar powered yurts comfortably sleep 4 with a queen sized bed and lofted queen bed. They are fully furnished with a living room seating area, raw edge tables, and a kitchenette stocked with cutlery, serving utensils, enameled dinnerware for 4, a French press, cookware, and propane camp stove. Each yurt is heated with a propane stove, keeping you toasty warm and offering the ultimate in cozy four season camping. Outhouses are conveniently located at each yurt site and a centralized bath house offers radiant heat, flushing toilets, hot showers, and a water filling station at each sink. The small solar system powers the 12v interior and exterior LED lights and 4 USB outlets for charging electronics. Each yurt has a private outdoor seating area with adirondack chairs placed under the strings of outside lights. A larger common seating area is offered adjacent to the bathhouse. Guests will enjoy the surrounding forest and wetlands on trails that are maintained year round.

We are dog friendly for up to two dogs, and pet waste bags are provided inside each rental.

Reserve a stay online and experience the beauty of western Maine from our stylish industrial/rustic yurt rentals.
