About Us

Bridgton Hospital serves more than 21 communities in western Maine and the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire. The hospital supports a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient and outpatient surgery, and full-service laboratory and medical imaging departments. In 2016, 2017 and 2018 it was named one of the 17 top rural hospitals in the United States by The Leapfrog Group, and it has been named a top critical access hospital by Becker’s Hospital Review.

A proud member of Central Maine Healthcare, which includes its partners Central Maine Medical Center, in Lewiston, Rumford Hospital, Bridgton opened its state of the art facility in 2002. Designed with patient comfort in mind, the hospital features 25 all-private patient rooms and baths, including the Special Delivery Family Birthing Center suites.

The hospital provides primary and specialty care services on its campus as well as in Fryeburg, Naples, and North Bridgton.
