Micrometeorites: Space Dust in Maine

Come join us at the museum as we unveil our latest special exhibit!

At 1pm on November 23rd, we will be celebrating the mysterious and elusive micrometeorite by hosting an exciting and informative presentation from local micrometeorite hunter and NASA Solar System Ambassador, Jon Wallace.
Jon has found hundreds of micrometeorites, including twenty-eight from Bethel, that will be on display in this special exhibit. He will talk about different types of micrometeorites, how to find them, and why these tiny yet mighty particles from outer space matter.

Where: The Discovery Gallery
When: 1pm, November 23rd
This event is FREE and open to the public!
Light refreshments will be served.

This special exhibit – as well as the entire Discovery Gallery – can be viewed during open hours without need for admission, ever.

We look forward to seeing you!
